Our Mission

 "There are different gifts the same Spirit... "
As Catholics of the Church Universal and the Archdiocese of St. Louis, we the members of St. Anthony of Padua Church in High Ridge, MO. are pledged to achieving the full participation by the whole parish in the mission of Jesus Christ as revealed in the Gospels. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the directives of the Archdiocese we commit ourselves to the service of God and neighbor."

"...through the Spirit one receives faith"
and, therefore, we are primarily called: to be a prayerful people; to listen to the Word of God; to respond to the Word of God with our minds and hearts; to celebrate our unity in Eucharistic Worship.

"...by the same Spirit another is given the gift of healing"
and, therefore, we are challenged:
to be peaceful and just in all our relationships;
to respect and care for all members of our parish family;
to protect and nurture life;
to reach beyond our parish boundaries to recognize and meet the needs of others.

"...to one, the Spirit gives wisdom...to express knowledge "
and, therefore, we are responsible: to grow in our knowledge of God and Church in all stages of our lives; to model for one another, especially our young, how to live our faith; to form people of faith through our educational settings; to proclaim our beliefs to one another and to the world.

"...the body is one and has many members " and, therefore, we are enjoined: to foster community in all our activities; to rejoice in one another 's different gifts and honor them equally; to support our parish with our time, talents, and treasures; to build the kingdom of God on earth

"But all the members, many though they are, are one body and so it is with Christ. " We, then, are the Body of Christ.
